Privacy Policy for Guides

GuidePick (the "Company") processes Guides' personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect phone numbers.

2. Purpose of Processing

Identity verification and guide approval, to maintain a safe marketplace
Providing the Service: tour registration, bookings, scheduling, and chat
Sending booking and operational notifications
Responding to inquiries and resolving disputes

3. Retention Period

Personal information is destroyed without delay upon account deletion, except where retention is required by law:
- Records on contracts and withdrawal of offers: 5 years
- Records on payments and supply of goods/services: 5 years
- Records on consumer complaints and dispute resolution: 3 years
Identity documents are stored securely with restricted access and retained only as long as necessary for verification and legal compliance.

4. Processing Delegation and Cross-Border Transfer

The Company delegates certain processing to the following providers, some of which process data outside your country:
